Tool Production

OMNIA KLF, a.s. secures for its own needs as well as for the needs of their customers the opportunities connected to the tool production, tool heat treatment, and tool hardening.

The tool production is focused mainly on operative and universal tools for the purpose of forgings production using the following production devices:

• HATEBUR – AKL 35, AKS 63, AMP 70 forging machines
• WAGNER – W 630, RAW 25/20 rolling machines
• MGR 250, UEL 85, UEL 160, UEL 180 rolling machines

Conventional Treatment

• Turning of forging tools for max. forging diameter of 500 mm
• Grinding of shaft components with IT7 accuracy up to 250 mm diameter and the length of 700 mm
• Grinding of flanged components up to 450 mm diameter
• Production of shearing tools for hot operation
• Production of gripping tools

CNC Treatment of Rotary Components

• Turning of flanged components on CNC machines up to 630 mm diameter
• Turning of shaft components on CNC machines up to the diameter of 300 mm and the length of 750 mm

Unconventional Treatment Possibilities

• Spark-eroded perforation up to diameter in the range between 0,3 mm and 3 mm, and the depth of 100 mm using HD 10 CHARMILLES TECHNOLOGIES machine
• Spark erosion cutting tool for shaped cutwork into metallic materials

Renovation

To maintain forging and rolling tools, our Welding Department was created:

• Renovation of shafts by hard welding up to 200 mm diameter and length of 800 mm with consequential processing for the purpose of further utilization
• Welding by electric arc
• Welding by electric arc in CO2 controlled atmosphere
• Welding by flame in CO2 controlled atmosphere
• Welding by TIG method (controlled atmosphere of inert gases)
